I've been looking for a while now for a nice "sling strap", but all the popular ones are complicated and bulky.

I was delighted when came across the Y Strap. It's simple, thin, minimal, extremely functional, passionately handcrafted, and (apparently) incredibly built. The only thing I didn't like was the bright red color. Then, I found this review that featured a nice black one.

I just ordered mine. Can't wait for it to get here :)

Thanks Stephen. I may give that a shot if the big ring doesn't rub too much against the side of my fat Canon 40D.

The swinging is a minor nuisance. I'm still quite happy with my Y Strap.

Hello- if the camera swings a bit as you mentioned with the shorter lens try it with only one ring and not two...this will help a lot and it is the way most users carry their camera.
